Guides – Blade and Soul Guide

New Blade and Soul Guide from KillerGuides. And It’s Awesome.

When I first started playing Blade and Soul as a Blade Master, I was overwhelmed at the sheer amount of information the game threw at me. Keep in mind that I’m no stranger to online role-playing games, as I’ve frequently beaten some of the hardest content in some of the most popular online games such as the World of Warcraft, the Elder Scrolls Online, ArcheAge and so on. While the in-game tutorials or fansites were helpful, I felt like there were deeper layers of the game I just couldn’t quite comprehend. My chosen class was doing not enough damage, I couldn’t find the best loot and I had no idea how to get the most out of the crafting system. Frustrated, I turned to one last option before quitting the game: The Killer Guides’ Blade and Soul strategy guide.

Gain Levels Quickly

One of the things I love in any MMORPG is participating in end-game content. Usually, it takes a few weeks or months to get to this point, but with Killer Guides’ Blade and Soul guide, you’ll learn the strategies to hit max level in only four days. This guide not only tells you the best places to level, but it also tells you the quests that offer the most experience. I couldn’t believe how quickly I was leveling up when following the instructions laid out in this guide. In the time it took my friends to level one character to the max level, I had already fully leveled three characters!

Unlocking the Power Within You

One of the things I struggled with the most in Blade and Soul is being effective with my chosen character, the Blade Master. With a wide array of skills to choose from, along with weapons and soul shield playing a huge part in your power level, I always felt slightly lost when tweaking my character. In dungeon runs, I felt like I was just holding my team back with my meager damage output. However, that all changed after reading the Killer Guides’ Blade and Soul strategy guide.

This guide claims to improve your performance by 200 percent in any given class, and I found those claims to be entirely accurate. All of the skills for every class are explained in-depth and in terminology that even a total newbie could understand and a game veteran can find something useful. The guide even shows you how to utilize the synergies between different skills! In addition, this guide also tells you the best way to upgrade weapon and armor your character needs as well as acquiring legendary items to further increase his power. I went from being dead weight in a dungeon run to being the top damage dealer in a matter of hours after reading this guide!

Climbing the PvP Ladder

You’ll not only learn how to be effective in PvE combat but also PvP as well. I initially stayed away from PvP combat, because if I was struggling so hard against computer controlled opponents how would I survive against an actual player? This guide lays the foundation for PvP, showing you how to use your skills effectively against any class and what’s the best weapon and armor set to use.

While the guide won’t give you the reflexes you need to master PvP combat, it does give you a starting point. After reading the information in this guide, I quickly rose to the top of the ranks in both arena and world PvP combat. I owe it all to Killer Guides’ Blade and Soul strategy guide, as the in-depth knowledge within gave me an edge. While I wish there was more information about some expert PvP strategies, the included knowledge is definitely helpful and is a nice addendum to the PvE content in the game.

Crafting All Night Long

If there is one thing I just couldn’t wrap my head around when I first started playing Blade and Soul, it was the crafting system. I’ve played plenty of games in my gaming career, but Blade and Soul had a crafting system unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. Materials are hard to come by, and I felt like I just kept wasting them making substandard equipment that wasn’t a good fit for my Blade Master. Killer Guides’ Blade and Soul guide dedicates a whole section to crafting, showing you where to not only get each resource but also how to effectively use it. In record time, I went from a crafting novice to an artisan, making not only excellent gear for myself but also making a tidy little sum selling my crafted merchandise to other players.

But Wait, There’s More!

The guide from KillerGuides is absolutely loaded with information; in addition to what I’ve already talked about, there is information about every dungeon in the game and how to amass a fortune quickly. The best part about the guide is that buying it gives you a lifetime of free updates; as an MMORPG, Blade and Soul updates frequently, and this guide will update to match it. I can whole-heartedly say that any Blade and Soul gamer needs a copy of Killer Guides’ Blade and Soul guide.

In-Depth Look into Blade Master Strategies

Strong, fast, and highly adept with swordfight, the Blade Master is a popular choice and an undeniably formidable nemesis. It is also an entirely predictable option for those who want their character immensely powerful and quick. There’s almost no challenge in picking a class that has excellent multi-strike attacks, impressive blocking capability, and great enemy maneuvering skills. But you can hardly fault someone for wanting a skilled master swordsman who could seemingly do no wrong.

Since it has one of the greatest defensive strengths among all classes, not to mention a specialty in AoE, the Blade Master has the perfect leveling build by default. It doesn’t hurt that it has impeccable offense and defense capabilities. Someone who wants to take advantage of all that this class can do would probably want to know if there’s a catch or if the class is only strong in a limited state. Perhaps it has a deal-breaking weakness or poor healing capacity. If it’s such an ideal blade and soul class, why should anyone bother with other types of class? Let’s look further.

Studying Battle Stances

There are two battle stances for the Blade Master in which just the right dose of shifting skills is necessary. The Basic Stance permits the use of all the attack and defense skills that the class is known for, as well as its other counterattack and block maneuvers. The Draw Stance differs mainly in that it highlights the Blade Master’s mesmerizing capacity for speed. It also has its own set of skills but the system allows several forms of attacks from both basic and draw stances.

The good news is that switching stances doesn’t require much effort and trickery, and pulling off power moves such as Flock of Blades, which unleashes a rain of swords on the hapless target, can be done in whichever stance. The attack is surprisingly similar to the ultimate attack skill in FFXV as seen from http://www.finalfantasy15guide.com/. This is just one of the areas where Blade Master outclasses the other classes that are only capable of special moves when in a certain stance or state.

Master Class Skills

You will never run out of offense tactics with Blade Master. Dealing the most damage while having equally tough defensive skills is, after all, their trademark.

Pentaslash intensifies the amount of damage your character will be dealing. This skill disables the enemy’s defense and throws the stunned target into the air, incapacitates such target, and just puts him closer to his demise. Stabbing is useful in that while it causes a fair amount of damage, it has the distinct capacity of healing your own damage. Front Kick also breaks defense and works great in tandem with a stab.

Of course, core to what makes Blade Master such an attractive choice and a fearless foe is its Block capability which is a skill that is worth mastering as it lets you live beyond the normal capacity of other classes. You can slash and stab to your heart’s content but without the ability to deflect attackers coming from all corners, or the powers of healing, you can not easily triumph even as you play in one of Blade and Soul’s strongest classes.

For mob fights, using Flash of Light is smart as it comes with a high burst DPS. An all-around quickness for attack, meanwhile, has its benefits which you can obtain through a Draw, which is most effective for single targets.

Final Thoughts

Blade Masters are versatile and are pretty untouchable in terms of attacking and blocking. They are martial artists who can do wonders with the sword and they ought to be your choice if you want maximum damage brought about by impressive combos. Accessories and gems are also important when playing swordsman. Collect as you please, but you should set your eyes on items that will contribute to your attack skills. Gems are important but not too critical. They do, however, boost your equipment’s strength which is essential to becoming a mighty martial artist.

This class possesses great strength and are quite known for their remarkable blade-handling and combo-executing energy, making them a truly worthy adversary in a gameplay. They exhibit no exploitable weak features but they are not particularly excellent in any specific skill, either. Being equally ferocious in attack and defense, one could argue, makes for an excellent combination.

And indeed, the Blade Mater is known to have virtually no weaknesses, but no outstanding strength. It’s probably safe to say that its weakness is that it doesn’t have that one major, prominent skill that it can boast. Apart from some superb combos and its fatal Flock of Swords, Blade Masters are, ultimately, masters only of swords and not much else. It’s a versatile class, great for when you’re aiming for causing the most tremendous damage, and evading the fiercest of blows, and for some, that is more than enough.

Blade and Soul Class Guide to Assassin

Assassins specialize in death traps, smoke bombs and other forms of stealth attack. They do not dominate the battlefield with their big, burly build and defensive skills are not among their strongest suit. Instead, they come at you from behind (oftentimes, literally) when you least expect it. Rather than an in-your-face approach to killing, they deliver damage with cunning and carefully calculated techniques.

That is not to say that assassins are always on the advantage nor can they be classified as the best class in either PvE or PvP arena. Blade & Soul classes are all uniformly strong and, in fact, you can make any class work for you. When you choose Assassin, you’ll have to employ a potent mix of cleverness and speed. An Assassin is capable of baffling even the most quick-witted of foes with its maddening ability to manipulate its presence by teleportation, invisibility or through other devious means.

If Assassin is your chosen blade and soul class, there are some things you need to master.

Two States United

As an assassin you could play in either stealth or unstealthed states. While it is tempting to stealth most of the time, and by all means you should do so as much as you possibly can as it is your main mode of defence, unstealthing is key in certain scenarios. For instance, just before your poison stack runs out – for which having 5 is ideal – go on unstealth mode before your stash is fully diminished and make sure to re-stealth when you can. Unstealthed is when you’re most vulnerable but it can’t always be avoided.

Make no mistake: assassins work best solo. Mastering what they can do as lone fighter is, therefore, essential. But whether you’re using an assassin for solo or group play, knowing what skills they have and what they can do ensures you’re making the most of an assassin class build in either setting.

Basic Skills for the Kill

Assassins have basic skills and some killer skills. Knowing which of these to use and when is extremely valuable. Learning when to choke, grab and seize could be mightier than plain old aggression which is how other classes operate. If you’re using the Assassin, these are some skills you’ll be using:

Mist slash is your typical initial basic attack. It lets you apply poison on to the enemy and can deal critical damage at an opportune time. The level of damage dealt by a slash complements the Heart Stab which you will be wise to dish after a hefty slashing session. As previously mentioned, implanting 5 stacks of poison on the enemy is best, as it deals the severest amount of damage whether you’re in PvP or PvE.

Compounding the mist slash’s damage is Back Stab which heightens the poison content already on the enemy. Naturally, you back stab while on stealth and you do it from behind. Cooldown from the damage caused by a back stab can even be reduced to ensure the enemy takes time to soak up the poison.

Poison is to an assassin what sword is to a Blade Master, so you will notice that it’s quite prominent among the assassin’s utilities. A poison’s damage is crucial in increasing and quickening damage, and another skill that is useful to its effects is Poison Moth. It disarms the enemy basically and can do any of the following damages: multiply the effects of poison and remove enemy’s ability to guard. Ideally, you use the poison moth as prelude to your main kill.

At some point, you would have to engage in a more hands-on attack. Shadowless Step, also done while on stealth, is best performed behind your target and allows you to tiptoe around the enemy as life draws out of him.

Final Thoughts

It’s no secret that the Assassin lacks counter attack and defense skills. It is then highly beneficial to an assassin player to be constantly in control of the enemy, ie, having them exactly where he can hit them the strongest and to have good weapon. You can even consider buy blade and soul gold for it. On the upside, assassins are more than amply skilled in crowd control which gives them great leverage in dishing out poison and whatnot. And while completely capable of causing great harm to its targets, assassins are mostly able to do so while on stealth.

Assassins are also known to have relatively extraordinary gameplay capacity for healing and regeneration, which somehow makes up for their lack of weak defenses. Some will see this particular lack as a huge detriment to using assassin, but the thing is, an Assassin can work just as well in any given setting, whether solo or group if you take the time to learn what they can do.

Finally keep an eye on your bleeds and poison stack and you should do well in leveling. There’s plenty to know about this class and if you know their full potential – and they’re capable of a lot – a supposed weakness in certain areas shouldn’t matter in the long run. You might even learn that Assassins can be the sneakiest and therefore most fun to use.
